The fit and finish of the Calandra is really second to none. As you mentioned, there are a ton of interior and exterior color options and highlights. The thing that stand out to me is that it felt SO MUCH BIGGER that 23' 6". I literally did not believe it at first. Since I have three young daughters, the head on our boat gets a lot of use. The head on that boat looks like what you would expect on a 27' boat.
I actually like the platform. I can see @Glassman concerns about people getting a little too comfortable and thinking they can sit on it while under way. I have had the same issue with my Yamaha of people doubting me when I say it not safe to sit on the deck when we are underway. Then I make them read the warning stickers. They laugh but seem to get it.
What caught my eye was the 30" draft. That would limit me significantly in the area that I boat. Not so much where we run it but coming up to sand bars the water is shallow a good ways out which is nice for the kids and dogs to play. While the I/O's and outboards are anchored way out the Yamahas and Jet Skis are up by the beach.
