Absolutely. Those 2a chargers won't even keep up with my old note 4 while I'm using it. It will loose battery power while plugged in. Qualcomm QC ups the volts to 9 (from 5) so you can get way more watts. Any (powerful) device you buy now will need higher voltage charging. 2A devices stopped coming out at least 2 years ago.
