Hoping I can reach big Shastas starting weight by the end of this
After going to Sherlock Holmes (an awesome steakhouse) last night and having free alcohol every night at the hotel, I'M hoping to only be at my starting weight by the end of this.:(

Yeah, last night wasn't too good for me either....
Although, I found out in MyFitnessPal that fishy stuffs isn't bad for you. The butter they cook it in however....
Had a cajun swordfish with Mussels as an appetizer. Gosh I think I should have lived on the coast my whole life. I just love seafood. #Bimini2016

Same here....I could eat blackened amberjack, grouper, mahi.....you name it, at every meal. And real Tuna steaks....I like it better than a beef steak.

The horrible thing is that i grew up thinking fish only came in squares and sticks!!!! My families version of making it taste better was tar-tar sauce. I dont' even know what that junk is, but it ain't good!
I really honestly thought that I hated fish until my honeymoon 9 years ago when we went to Cayman Islands. We sat down at a resteraunt that was up higher. We were watching the people line up to get back on the big cruise boats but also were watching the fishermen come in and some went to the back door of this resteraunt. I ordered Mahi Mahi, and OMG my life has changed! Now, my favorite dish to make for the wife and I is a good big piece of salmon seared up with a bit of olive oil in a pan and some lemon juice then put it on a cooked spinach bed with a light cream sauce and topped with shaved almonds. Goodness I wish I knew more about cooking, but wow was I thrilled with cooking that the first time! Super healthy except the cream sauce, which I prefer to keep on the light side anyways because I LOVE the TASTE of fish. Everyone by me say they don't like a "fishy" taste of somthing like a nice pink salmon, but I think they're nuts. I hope to at least go perch fishing this year a few times and load up my freezer. Only problem is I'm scared to start fileting the fish since I haven't done it before! I've watched about 100 videos about it, but never done it.
Anyways, all this talk of my honeymoon reminds me why i'm on a diet..... Made my salad for tomorrow's lunch. Bugga.

image.jpg So I'm doing quite well on this, "I'm not going to eat crap on my vacation". Then, my cousin introduces me to robertos taco stand. O good lord! I've eaten tacos like this for every meal for 4 meals.

So, I decided to treat myself to some pancakes at breakfast this morning. Wow! I can tell I haven't had that much sugar in awhile. I've had a headache all day besides feeling jittery and generally weird since we got home. You really don't know how much sugar messes with you until you haven't had much in awhile.

image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg I get out west and my cousin is a health nut. She's found out I was trying to lose weight and sent me on so many different trails. Check these out! Hope you all are still getting after it!!! I'm busting my tail!

I couldn't agree more. I was a Mt. Dew a day guy for I don't know... Since high school. I have not had one since 08 Feb and probably will not have one again for some time know that I am used to it. I would also like to toss this out there that I truly appreciate this thread. I have never done anything like this before and it was just the motivation I needed. I am a competitive person in general so it helped me commit for much longer than I thought I could. Now that I am used to this healthy way of eating and exercising so I have no intentions of changing but probably just relaxing some of my rules when this is over next week. Heck... I have made fun of runners since pretty much always (only the ones that have to tell me about every run and how good it was), and here I am now, already signed up for the Airf Force half marathon in September. Look at what you knuckleheads did to me!! But it's all for the better. AND I feel sooooooo much better.
