I'm the same way. Now that I am back on line no work getting done. And boss is screaming for my reports. Sorry. Just can't think of getting reports done today.

"Umm yeah... I'm going to need those TPS reports. Did you get the memo?... yeah.... I'll make sure you get the memo again"

Totally agree, a nail biter for sure. Glad most are there safe and hope everyone that has to cross uses caution and thoughts will be with you all!

They still riding at 20MPH 15 miles out now.

Yes that's the ski that didn't make it. It had mechanical failure and I believe started to take on water.

I know it been one of those "had to be there" situations. Hope you all are well. @Bill D , bummer on the scratch, some color matched spectrum paste aught to fix that fluke accident. Pun intended.. It really sucks that you folks went thru all that, farewell.

He ran out of gas twice or you towed in 2 people from our group? Thanks for taking care of them Brad!

Anybody other than Bamaha trying a second crossing?

Bamaha and another boat captained by an Edgar as far as I know. Not sure if the 3rd boat ever left port or if the last group ever left.

I assume the 3rd boat is @Bill D s boat with the punctured hull.

how was the decision to make the crossing made? What happened to the group "leaders?" Is it now normal to cross in 6 footers? Would you make the call to do it again? It's one thing when you have a collective of 4-5 boats making decisions but when you have 100 people that traveled from across the country to make a risky trip, there is undue pressure on taking unnecessary risk. Be careful out there folks!
