Hi all, it appears that some folks are getting mixed up between the Harbour Towne parking rates and the Bahia Mar parking rates. Stephanie Fot at the Bahia Mar Marina asked me to refresh you with regards to the rates at Bahia Mar.
Bahia Mar Only:
1. Boat dock/slip: The rate is confirmed at $1.25/foot with no minimum. So a 24 foot boat will cost $30 plus tax.
2. Jet skis: $25 per night, and they must share a slip with another vessel.
3. Boat trailers are $10/axle/day while the vessel is at Bahia Mar, if the vessel departs and the trailer remains it is $50/day... this little detail has caught some of our members off guard in the past.
4. Passenger vehicles (cars/trucks) are $7/day.

I believe that most of us are launching at Harbour Towne, and plan on leaving our tow vehicle and trailer there, but it appears that at least one boat in our group is launching elsewhere and plans on parking their trailer at Bahia Mar.

Harbour Towne Only:
1. $15/day to park your trailer and tow vehicle. Pay the security guard at time of launch.

I just mapped my drive for the upcoming trip. Calgary AB, to Conroe TX (get the boat), to Ft. Lauderdale, to Silver Glen Springs, to Lake Powell, then back to Calgary.

You even used Canadian distance units to confuse us!

That is 6,882 miles to us Americans.

It's amazing what some people will do to win the "longest tow to Bimini" award. ;)

@MrMoose you are a much better man then I holly cow. I don't think it would have mattered How much it would have cost I would have shipped it to Florida and then shipped it to the border in Montana and picked it up there. That is going to be a heck of a road trip though look forward to hearing the story once complete!

I'm thinking that a full-size spare is a good option to get when I buy my next SUV.

@Majorsmackdown's 2016 tow might be longer than my 2017 trip. Regardless, he'll stay in the record books as having the longest tow under duress when we pulled the departure date forward on him at the last minute.

On a side note, Bimini to Silver Glen to Lake Powell is going to be an epic summer of boating!

I expect that Lake Powell should be nice and warm by late July. I was telling Mrs. Moose, that after this summer's boating, there's only one last milestone left to do with the boat... tow it through the Rocky Mountains to the west coast and dip it into the Pacific... just so we can say that it has been in both the Atlantic and Pacific oceans.

Finally got all caught up with the thread after a few days!!! For some reason my e-mail alerts for the thread was not working and I had missed just about 60 pages worth of discussion :banghead: . Some intro: we are from Houston and we had our 215HO for two years which we enjoyed a lot taking it to different lakes in Texas, Orange Beach, Destin, etc... We thought it was only natural to move on to Bimini after reading about the trip here. This year we traded the 215 HO for a 255 HO and can't wait for Bimini and July to be here. Any other Rotax powered boats or skis making the trip this year? Greetings to all and look fwd to meet you in July!

@Rick215HO, I believe you are the only Scarab signed up and will be breaking new ground for your kind!
That's great, can't wait to be back in one piece! :) breaking new ground it is then! :winkingthumbsup"

I'm so jealous. Wish I could've talked the wife into going. Planning on going to ng for sure next year.

Sorry for typo "to ng" should not be in that sentence. Lol. Planning on going for sure next year.
