I always liked this canal front home for sale over there.

@Andy S, @robert843, @ClemsonTiger, @MrMoose, @chris24, @Valerie, @Murf'n'surf I believe that the skis that had a 5 hour crossing on Monday are returning tomorrow. Let's play a game of guess how long their crossing will be.

I have reviewed forecasts from The NWS, SailFlow and PassageWeather. My guess is that a 6:00 to 8:00 departure will be a 3.5 hour crossing reducing to a 2.5 hour crossing if they leave at noon.

Gavin is graduating kindergarten tomorrow morning so I will miss out on the action.
Please give Gavin a high five from MrMoose. I think that they'll take their time on the return. 3:45 hrs is my guess

The forecasts have changed overnight.

NWS is now forecasting 2' seas with 4 second dominant periods all day with 3 second dominant periods tonight.

SailFlow is continuing to show a transition to 8 second dominant periods with less than 1.5' seats beginning at 10:00.

PassageWeather is showing less than 1.5' seas with the waves primarily to their backs early but changing to having waves moving to the South around noon on the US side of the Gulf Stream.

I am revising my prediction to 3 to 3.5 hours.

It looks like the jet ski guys have set sail for Miami.

They are starting off ok just a little above 20mph average it appears. IT would look like 9:20am was the official leave time that is the first mark I see outside the marina.

Looks like they are about half way at about an hour and a half.

I saw one with 40 knots
I saw that as well but it came right after they were stopped for a little bit so it may have been somebody trying to catch back up to the group. if someone can keep that speed even for a short burst they're probably just cruising as they could be going at a faster pace than. Or they're cruising at the pace the slowest person in the group is comfortable with .

They are entering the water that was forecast to have waves moving to the south. That may slow them down.

Bruce, can you update me to 2 people. Parents wont be here in time.
Thanks

He stopped tracking jut before the bridge around 10 minutes ago. Trip time is reported as 3:09:15. I believe the trip time started just outside Bimini Sands.

GreenHulk is down. Guess all of @robert843's website has broken their forum!

@Bruce its been acting up for a few days it works intermittently. I keep telling the to check the specs on the end line for the rotary girder. never mind I'm an idiot.

Looks like @Bruce had the closest prediction. Now I feel even better about him leading this year's Bimini trip!

It was a good test of our weather reading skills. I think we all learned from it. This will be really important to the Exhumas group who will be boating five times as far as we are.
