Lake Lanier, GA meet/raft up

Very cool. Where do you keep your boat or launch from?
I launch from Vanns Tavern...

I'll be at Port Royale for a while starting March. Looks like it's right around the corner from your launching spot.

Yep, I hang out at Port Royale a lot... I live right across the road. I might look at keeping my boat there and dry stack this year, or at least through peak season

Been watching lake levels recently. Do you think Lanier will recover? I know this is time of year lakes are drained, but Allatoona is up 2' already since Feb 1. Is Lanier on schedule to be at full pool?

No way we will make full pool by summer or even get close my guess. We have come up about 8" in the last month with moderate rain.
I did hear that GA won the water battle against FL & AL..
Haven't seen anything in the news about it but I heard people talking about it. That will be a huge help as well. If we can get back maybe four feet before summer we will be okay. History shows the typical summer level over the last eight years has been at 1066 (on average)
