Good day

I've got a 2019 210 FSH and store it in my garage. I am having a custom t top that folds built but was wondering if anyone had any ideas on making the back rest removable, foldable or something so that I can fit the boat in the garage without unbolting it each time. I've seen a few Skeeter boats that have a removable backrest that slides right down into rod holders. If anyone has approached tackling this, let me know what you've done.
 
You could cut all 4 legs on the seat and have a welder, weld in a pipe size smaller. That way it would just drop in and you could safety it with a couple of hitch pins. Pull 2 pins and pull the top half of the seat off with the backrest.
 
The Base model posts have no back, you could switch to one of those. I don’t believe that would be any taller than the console so you’d be able to roll into a garage. If you’re looking at modding the existing post to be foldable or removable just keep in mind it will be very difficult to do that and maintain its rigidity.
