Belteddeep, I finally was able to open the cover and measure, they are 3.25 inches from the bottom to the top.

The size can be anywhere between 4 and 4.5 Inches. Mine are 4.125"
3 suggestions for great font choices: CASLON (an Adobe font and not everyone has it), CG Times, and Bodoni.
