Belteddeep, I finally was able to open the cover and measure, they are 3.25 inches from the bottom to the top.

The size can be anywhere between 4 and 4.5 Inches. Mine are 4.125"
3 suggestions for great font choices:
CASLON (an Adobe font and not everyone has it), CG Times, and Bodoni.

Oh yeah,, it isn't snowing any more,, 40 and raining is awesome. A couple days ago the 10 day forecast had rain everyday.. and cold.. the snow was just a bonus.......(can you hear my attitude?????) lol
