I purchased one of these to install in my boat 1) because running my ballast pump across the drivers seat from the rear deck is a pain in the arse and 2) having additional USB for charging phones is nice for guests.

I'm going to tie this into my secondary house battery, which is under rear port bench. What I'm looking for is any suggestions on where to put the actual receptacles before I start drilling holes. Appreciate any thoughts or pictures!

I installed one of those a couple years ago. Right near my glove box on the side of my 242. Sort of mid ship but on the port side. It allows for 12v closer to the stern for blowing up tubes.

Mine is a three holer, as the center is a rocker switch, instead of a power on the USB like yours. I like yours!

And we leave a lightning cable in the glove box for "that person" that always seems to need to charge their phone.

Nice install, thank you!

I replaced mine at the helm with one. I also put another inside the glove box. That way they can hook up the phones to it and keep them out of the sun and in a safe spot.
