Doesn't this seem a bit high for Oil and Winterize at my high and dry Marina? 2018 AR190 (single engine, not supercharged)
I used to keep the boat at my house and do it myself, but now we store at the marina (high and dry) which is an hour drive away, so I had them do the winterize.
Oil change and Oil filter = 2.6 hours (seems long to me. I think this took me about 1 hour, maybe 1.5 hours)
Winterize - Drain engine & Manifolds, refill with Antifreeze, fuel stabilizer, disconnect batteries, cover it (not wrapped or anything, its indoor storage so just cover with my yamaha boat cover) = 1.8 hours (seems like another 1 hour to 1.5 hour job with our boats)
Unless they did something different but drain engine would be start it and blow it out, right? Then hook up anti freeze to the flush out port and run it through.
Total cost was $611. Materials were reasonable, majority of cost was the 4.4 hours of labor at $120 per hour. I feel like 3 hours is realistic.
$120 per hour x 1.4 hours = $168
$611 - $168 = $443 (this is more like what I was expecting as a bill).
