I managed to damage (hthe "wood" divider that sits between the center ballast and the pump on my 2017 212x. The divider seems to be meant to keep the bag from sliding back into the tubing / pump. Anyone know what this material is called? I'd like to cut a new piece and replace the damaged one.

Any “marine wood” that is not decorative is usually just lumber. However I always use treated lumber for wood on a trailer or in the boat.

I like to let new treated lumber sit until it is dry to the touch before using it. It is often still very wet while for sale at Lowe’s, Home Depot, or the like.

I thought Yamaha did not use any wood on there boats.
There is plenty of wood on these boats. Just not in the hull , transom, or deck. But i have seen it between compartments like the head

@scottbailie , Without a pic it’s hard to understand what you are asking about. If the divider is white all the way through and may look like the material at the bottom of your seats it is starboard. You can get it on line sometimes at West marine or you can substitute plastic chopping board material material in for the original divider.
