I have a couple of the these and am kind of indifferent on them. As mentioned, they are definitely not ideal in rough water. I found them to ride up and not stay in place. For a quick stop at a dock to refuel or pick up someone, they work well.

Agreed, not really good, they do look prety, but. The strap doesnt stay innplace is there is any movement doesnt really keep other boats away from yours at $60 i can buy to big 8" around fenders that will protect my investment.. for a quick jump on off and the dock maybe. But it wouldnt be the only proctecion i keep in the boat. My opinion.
