My 2015 Yamaha 242 Limited S

Do you use the flip up bolster much? Seems pretty narrow

I use mine 35% of the time, but I'm a 'big' guy, so sometimes I only have one leg there when standing... The seat is really comfortable, but when the cushion is up, and I'm standing, it's a little bit uncomfortable on the back of my legs.

I've used it quite a few times, and when the bolster is up I stand partially in front of the seat and partially between the between the sides. So far I haven't noticed it, I don't think it's a big deal.

Anyone have any trouble taking down the Bimini cover??

Honestly it's not as easy as my 212X but still it's not hard at all.

I probably just need to play around with it a bit more. Do you have to take out or loosen the poles in the sleeve before I take down and fold up? I'm not talking about the poles you take out of the tower holes and wrap up in the Velcro pocket. The Dealer even was baffled when I asked him to help.

The more i look at your boat Adam the more I think a light tint on the windows would look awesome and help dress it up a little more.

I'm tinting it for sure, I just haven't had a chance to take it in yet.

Well hurry up and do all the cool upgrades so I know what works and what doesnt, so I can copy your setup.

I've have the Bimini down to a science. When taking down, I pull the 2 front posts from the tower, then loosen the sleeve around the front bar on both sides. I begin rolling it up, and then over. I unlatch the 2 rear, finish rolling, and zip it all back up.

The point to all the mods will be to make it one of a kind, not one of many... :)

@Charles I don't store my bimini up against the tower. I don't want it to chaff the tower at all.

Hmmm...may have to try that this weekend.

I'll give it a try this weekend and let you know. Thanks!

Headed out today on the Willamette here in Portland for her maiden voyage. Can't wait!

Make sure you get some maiden voyage pics. . . .

Just got back from lake Powell for a weekend trip and let me tell you it couldn't have been better! It was 84°air temp, 75° water temp & zero wind not a cloud in the sky. Here are some pics.

you north lake guys... when will you learn that bullfrog is just for fisherman ;-). I personally like my trip more. rained for 1 day, but low 90's every day with mostly clear skies.

sexy boat on a nice lake though! Glad it was more fun than bear lake.

Edit: Don't steal my picture! I'm quite proud of how well that shot took.
