New Boat, wasn’t planning to pick one up but the deal was too good!

SCORE!

I had one similiar that was at a house I bought years ago. I put an 80lb thrust tolling motor on it. We lived on a very small pond/lake. I would fly around fishing all the time. Could actually create a wake. We named it "Doughie". I was alot lighter back then.

Stabilize it, add a table and you have a great picnic bench for the back yard!

Better idea - create a stiff tow bar and attach it to your boat as a beer cooler dinghy!

is that a 2019 or 2018? Looks like it has that newfound ablative bottom material that improves speed and reduces fuel consumption?

Everbody needs a little dinghy...I assume the hole in the bottom was the reason it was in the boneyard? Or is that for the periscope.

You're putting a Mercury 450R on that right?!
Hmm...I do have a 4tec engine and pump that I’ve been saving for the right project.

There isn’t much fiberglass left in spots

There was an umbrella nearby and it had a fair bit of sand inside. My guess is someone repurposed it as a kids sand box and drilled the holes through the seat and hull to hold the umbrella.

For now I’ll patch the holes up quick and use it at camp to get to the mooring. It’ll be better then the kayak I’ve been using. The kids will have fun with it as well.

I just assumed it was a port designed for ice fishing ... does it come with the bimini (umbrella)? Nothing more frustrating than buying something used and missing accessories (car owner's manuals, cargo covers, etc...)

Joking aside, bringing old/broken things back into service is enjoyable and unfortunately a lost art nowdays. We live in a disposable goods society.

I was thinking a wading pool for the kids (or grand kids). But same basic back yard idea as @OCMD. Not enough seats in off-the-shelf kiddie pools these days.
