After months of stalking the forum, digesting plenty of fantastic information, I figured I should post a formal hello. My family bought a 2017 212X this past winter and keep it on Lake Winnipesaukee in NH. The boat's been amazing and we've managed to put almost 50 hours on it already this year. Love the site!

Welcome

Hey welcome to the site! I'm in Maine and boat on Sebago all summer long. Been thinking about making the trip to Winnipesaukee next summer. Enjoy the boat and will let you know if we make it out there!

Welcome @scottbailie and congrats on the boat and a successful first season.

I’m moving up to that area soon. When does the water get warm enough to wakeboard, tube, and swim? Would it warrant getting something different like a center console or something that can go offshore?

The water is always warm enough up here, Tex. You just gotta wanna. When the ice goes out, the docks and boats go in. It’s a short season, but you’ll learn to love it.

Welcome. I’m originally from Ma so I boated up there a few times, nice lake.

A little further North here, but we will see 75° water shortly. It was a nice refreshing 64°s yesterday.

I had a feeling I would get a comment like this. Have mercy on us Southerners. If the water ain’t higher than 75, we probably have a sweatshirt on.
Man. Up here in Washington we are having one of those summers where it refuses to warm up. Boating in sweatshirts and zip-off short pants with socks on has been the norm. We did get a freak weekend in the 90’s and we would go in that lovely glacier fed 62 degree water……but not for long. Last year we set a record for days in the 90’s but the whole state was on fire so I GUESS I’ll take this one?
