Just relax! A jet boat is easy to use. Do your break in according to the instructions. There are no surprises, a little less control around the dock just go slow. Most people who buy them have no boat experience at all you will do fine.
Just like the bass boat, it will be a bit louder if your boat was new, if you had a 90’s or earlier outboard it is the same.
No bow rise that is nice. Good fuel economy. The stereo is nice I hooked it up to phone bluetooth. Ask for your owners manual and read a little about break in and radio controls no wake control. No trim or tilt just trod dale and go, easy! The throddle is touchy, short throw. The only thing is if you let go of the wheel the boat wanders. I just turn wheel all the way and put one motor on no wake and let the boat do a circle as I grab a soda or something.

One thing to keep in mind (since you are coming from bass boats!) - because you are steering with thrust there is a distinct lag in steering response, especially at no wake speeds. That can be confusing and will make you oversteer, to compensate.
So - best is to not overreact and give the boat some time to "catch up" to your steering. You will see what I mean.
It can be annoying as hell at first, but becomes second nature and can be very satisfying - quickly!

The "no wake" mode helps, too, it gives you some extra steering response (relative of course) - it has 3 steps and once you activate it you can move the throttle lever forward and backwards within the first two indents - all while staying in "no wake" mode.

Keep in mind - there is no gear box! - so you can shift from forward to reverse and back as quickly as you like and no need to bring the engine speed (RPM) down in between! You are just moving buckets over steering nozzles to switch between forward and reverse.

If it is windy, be extra careful - these boats have no lower unit, and are not "planted" at the stern and can spin around like crazy - the stern will feel very wobbly to you.

Double check the cleanout port plugs - those need to be locked in position for the pumps to generate thrust. Also - the hatch (over the cleanout plugs) needs to be closed/locked - there are switches that will stop the engines if the hatch opens up. (those are things you just don't think about, as those are specific to yamaha jet boats).
