New stereo head unit recommendations

I cut the plug off the factory harness to our original rear remote on our 04 ar230 and wired it to the new control, then just plugged it in that way so I didnt have to re-run wiring

Thanks guys...I am going to try and run it first from the stereo and see what happens. I don't want to get any unwanted hissing or interference after the first hook up while we are on the lake. What guage wire is that on the harness?

Fusion RA-70NSX with NMEA2000 network and remote on back tied into Garmin gps and 2way radio. Love It!! Found faceplate on ebay to finish out the stereo install and cover the larger whole right.

I considering this head unit in my 2011 242. But I have the Aquatic AV, is that the head unit you had prior as well? So I will need a filler plate as the Fusion is a smaller single DIN that the Aquatic AV?

Thanks for the help.

Yes, I got the filter plate on ebay for that specific model. Could have made it myself with marine board for sure but my router was acting up so just got the one ready to go and moved on. Glad I did it that way, time saver.
