OK, I was going to do an oil change however I seem to pull off the top part of my dip stick. It is stuck therefore I won't be able to change my oil or check it at any time. Does anyone here have some advice on a good way to get it out so I can replace it.

Well that seems bizarre.
Not knowing the situation, is it possible to super glue/JB Weld a plastic tab it the stub and unscrew it?

Post a Pic of it.

I had one on a 1800 engine break off the entire tube and I had to manufacture one using copper tubing so the tube unbolts then remove the tube and the stick all in one. That was a few years ago but it was not difficult to get the entire tube out

Will upload picture when I get home from work. Interested in the copper tubing invention. One more thing, would your cobra jet steering get my fsh 190 with 1.8L high output to plane faster or is it just for steering purposes?

Yes I have a special version of the super ultimate ak deluxe that fits 2015 through 2018 nozzles on the 19 foot boats , this is the super ultimate with the plaining surface added like the one for the later boats but it was never added to my web site, so people have to get with me to order it directly $235 free domestic shipping This does not increase the draft of the boat either just like the ak-19 version for the newer boats

I'm interested in the cobra jet steering and I also just ran into problem on last trip. Check out the pictures. I love the fact that I would be able to plain at lower speeds. I'm very intrigued is there a direct link to make an order and is the installation difficult?

I actually have the super ultimate AK deluxe version for your year and model boat however you will need to email me directly because it still isn't on the web site go figure jeff@cobrajetsteering.com

Is the broken of part stuck or loose in the tube? Maybe try one of these extendable magnets.

It should still be stuck in the slot, I need to find a thin powerful magnet I guess because it would need to unattach from its slot

Will try and let you know, as for the other issue I probably forgot to align the jet pump the last time I pulled it out. Probably will pull it out and fix it when I receive the cobrajetsteering. Thanks Jeff for the info I'm curious to check it out and will update all of y'all. I appreciate the advice

The end that is broken off will be sticking out of the tube in the engine so if you unbolt the tube you will be able to remove the broken one but getting it out otherwise may be a bit difficult

This is what I would suggest. Then push it out from the other end.

you probably have this all figured out but I would get a clear flexible/soft thin wall hose just slightly smaller diameter than the ID of the tube the dip stick goes in and shove it down the tube. Hopefully the hose will go around the dip stick and it will get stuck in the hose and you pull it all out. The hose from the oil extractor might work too.

the exterior tube unbolts from the block at the base of it and on the side of the block and the entire tube will pull off the engine easily

The tube contacts the intake manifold on my 2016 non super charged and can't be removed.
