i love the mobile capability of this forum and I really do like the user friendliness of this site. tapatalk is cool for forum watching, but if it causes headaches we don't want that!
yep, 5 batteries 2 under left rear seat next to sub, 2 under right rear seat next to sub, and one backup in port rear storage locker along with 4 amps....
I believe @Sotally Tober has the record with 7 batteries. 6 of them are golfcart batteries which are physically smaller but they still weigh as much.
I don't understand why they don't put handles on those suckers

Golf cart batteries use a fancy detachable lifter handle. Works well if you happen to have one. They are terrible if you do not. I have a tower with three 8 volt golf cart batteries and I do not have a handle.

Any idea where to get one of those handles? It was bad enough lowering those batteries into my rear storage hatch but it will be hell getting them back out without a handle

Most places that sell golf cart batteries will give you one. I've seen 2 types. One is all plastic and slides into guides on the battery sides. And another type that has metal hooks that hook onto plastic hoops on the top of the battery. Here is the hook type: http://www.justgolfcarts.com/balicast6v.html
I am really interested in receiving alerts for help via email and forwarding to a text, I can set up the email rules to forward to text... but I am not sure if I am getting alerts via email either. Maybe an admin can do another test... it's kinda like calling 911... don't want to alarm anyone...
