Plastic cover on instrument panel

2014 195HO.... The plastic instrument cover has started to crack. Nothing has been done to cause this, there are about 3 spots where spider cracks are forming and spreading. Has anyone else experienced this?
When we called, we were told they do not make the plastic screen - we have to replace the entire panel at the cost of $2700.00.

Can we see some pictures? There is a lot of custom work that can be done for $2700 dollars, so if it's semi flat, a piece of plywood wrapped in Vinyl or an aluminum custom dash, or painted plexiglass may be way more cost effective. Best of Luck!

Some Auto Repair places also do custom dash repairs for used car dealers... maybe something of the sort?

I have encountered the exact same problem however my dealer did give me a new lens to replace the cracked one on our boat. I had about a dozen cracks running all throughout the gauge cluster. I thought it was going to be pretty straight forward, just remove the aluminum panel in the front, pop the gauge out and take the lens off. Boy was I wrong! The existing lens is glued completely to the cluster and took about 2 hours with a Dremel tool to remove all the glue so the new lens could sit flat. All and all you can get a replacement lens but just set a side some time to replace it.

Would you be willing to share your dealers name? We called ours as well as the manufacture and we were told we could not just buy the lens, it was all one unit.
