@GTBRMC, I don’t really care one way or the other if a business doesn’t accept cash. But, absent of any federal law that states they must accept cash for payment or any judicial decisions in federal court, it is just our personal opinions if the practice is illegal or not. Regarding the Federal Reserve, as they set U.S. monetary policy, I trust them to have the competence to know if there has been any federal law establishing whether private business, persons, or organizations must accept cash.
