Raleigh Area Lakes. Jordan, Harris, Falls.

Planning on heading out to Jordan Saturday and maybe Sunday

We'll be out there Saturday, but probably late. I gotta help my buddy at his shop in Apex most of the day I think. Probably get wet around 5pm, and then all day Sunday.

Apex Tuning? Which camp ground and will you have your ski's

Yeah, my buddy owns that place. I'm rebuilding a transmission for him tomorrow, and then we'll all be out there. He's got a 21' proline, and we'll have the skis.

Plan on being out at Jordan on Sunday. Not sure where I am going tomorrow.

Just finished installing Thrust Vectors, Lateral Thruster and Riva Racing ribbon delete. Going somewhere tomorrow to see how it changed the characteristics of the boat.

Anybody heading to Falls Lake tomorrow/today?

I wanted to go to falls today but the entire family has other plans... And I didn't feel like launching alone. .. Next weekend is the falls lake gathering.. We will be there...

Same here, haven't tried to launch mine alone yet. May be heading that way in a little while though. If you want to head out there let me know.

2017 AR 190. Just bought it used from a guy last Saturday.

Just realized there's a local thread. I keep my 242 at Crosswinds and go out on Jordan. Haven't been to any other lakes..... yet. Planning to go out this Saturday. Mix of floating and pulling the kids around on the tube.

I usually go up to the north east part of the lake between 751 and Farrington. Usually only a couple boats there and the water is much more calm. Gotta be careful with some of the shallow areas, but I have to say the map on my boat is super accurate. Really been impressed with it so far.

We have a local get together this Saturday at Falls Lake if you want to come by. Here’s the thread with details.

Ok, I've gone up and down Google maps but can't see where the boat ramps are for Harris, can someone give me a hint? I haven't gone there before, going to try them since Jordan is closed at least till Oct 1

I haven't been to Jordan, but it's 16 feet above normal right now and Crosswinds is under water. Even if the level comes down some, I'm sure the water is gonna be a mess with debris and stuff.

That answers a question if have been wondering all week. No boating this weekend.

Saw this and wow. Lake is full and has to be a mess.

Anyone know the conditions at Lake Gaston? Considering pulling the boat there Sunday.
