Boat is loaded and hooked to the truck so I'm sitting here killing time till my wife gets off then we're gonna go find a sandbar to sit on for the holiday weekend. Bout the only downside to being retired with an 11 year younger wife, I'm still stuck with mostly just weekends cause she has to work to support me :D

I wish I had your problems.

@Bilmon , I feel for you Buddy....but someone has to do it, huh? :winkingthumbsup"

Go find that sandbar and kick it.....with a wife 11 years younger I'm sure you could use a bit of rest now and again.

Happy Fourth, be safe

camping on the lower Wisconsin, skinny water but great sandbars View attachment 24764

Our water used to be skinny, but now I can't even launch a boat on Lake Texoma. This summer is looking like a total bust for me. That sand looks nice!

My boat is actually 360 miles from me right now......but getting ready to leave to go find it and hook it up for an outing in the morning!!

Watch that on the news and follow some of the threads on here, Hard to believe you can go from the incredible drought to what you have now in such a short time. We have had a lot of rain the last month or so but nothing even remotely like you guys.
