Anyone have any recommendations on who could rebuild my 2019 AR190 engine? This is from my hydro-lock incident, pistons 1-3 still rotate on the crank, but it looks like #4 lost it's wrist pin and doesn't move anymore. I'm near Seattle but I don't care if I have to ship it off.

UGH that sucks....... sorry for your loss man. I would call around to the local pwc dealerships and see what they'd charge you.

Thanks, man. The first thing my mechanic did was try to price out the various engine parts from the official dealer and stopped when he got to $8000.

At this point I'm just considering getting a used Waverunner with the same motor and using it as a donor. Hey, why not just drop the SHO engine in? I can have one of the only supercharged AR190s. Then part out the donor shell, old motor, and donor trailer. (Or rebuild the AR190 motor myself just for fun and drop it back into the donor).

Have you contacted your insurance company? Depending on your policy, it may be considered an accident.

Collision/theft coverage only because I figured "it's under warranty," not suspecting that I would grenade the motor by forgetting something simple. A series of unfortunate choices over here.

Have you attempted to file an insurance claim? Water intrusion leading to a failure could be covered.

You know, my agent said one thing, but looking at the policy documents I might have an out. I'll look into it directly with Allstate, thanks!
