Reset maintenance reminder???

I just did my 10 hour service myself on my 212XE. I went in through the connext touch screen, settings, wellness and reset the maintenance reminder, but it only reset the time since service on the port engine. The starboard engine is still showing 10 (11 or 12 now) since last service and while I was out on the water today it kept giving me the "reminder" that I have reached my service interval and need to see my Yamaha dealer. Has anyone else seen this? Anyone know how to make the other engine reset? I tried it engines on, off and multiple ways to get the starboard engine to reset. thanks.

That happened to me this summer. For about 3 or 4 outings had to keep doing the wellness reset and it was annoying but after a few outings it stopped. Good luck!

Any updates on this? We have the same issue. The wellness reset button only resets the port side. We just did our 10 hour service.

I still have not figured out how to resolve this. I have stopped trying to reset it and I still get the service reminder every time I go out. Its on my growing list of items to get fixed under warranty at some point this year.

Bummer, my dealer told me to try “googling” for a fix online lol. On the FB group, someone said Yamaha has not put out a software patch yet and will likely not for months.

My dealer did the first service and reset it, so there has to be a way to get the reset to stick. I haven’t figured it out either

I dont have your exact issue even though i have a 2020 model boat. Mine stopped responding to touch inputs about 6 months ago. Then all of a sudden started working again. These things definitely have some bugs and are glitchy. I might be inclined to check some connections on the motor and or the back of the connext screen as well, wouldnt hurt.

Luckily screen and everything electronics wise seems to work fine. When I go to the gear - wellness- hours since maintenance - reset - confirm, the alarm goes off until the next outing. After the battery is turned off and back on, the maintenance counter returns to counting up since the last service. For me it’s now at 116hrs, but I did maintenance 17 op hours ago.

My manual doesn't specify but I think it does for my boat...I had trouble resetting mine after my oil change and it didn't work. I think I tried it again the next day on the water and it worked. Give it a try next time you're on the water or flushing and let us know.

I have a 2017 242XE and I would also like to know. I have called in my question to the dealer and they keep giving me the run-around. It would be nice to know how to do it since I just had it serviced...

Bingo, you need to have the engine running if i recall correctly. I went through the same thing and it wouldnt reset with just the key on. When I fired up the engines to flush them it let me reset the counter.

I took my boat out this weekend. Went through the options and could not see anywhere to re-set it. I need to. I got to the page to display the service reminder hours. But no option to reset it.
