Hey, new to forum, lots of good stuff posted here.
Had an issue pop up during last hurricane in Melbourne, FL area. Boat is at a high n dry, 3rd level up but apparently water was going sideways. Filled boat up to top of ski locker.
After draining boat, the battery did not work. Had it tested and 10 month old battery bad. New battery installed, now bilge & blower not working. Went over every fuse twice, connections clean with no corrosion.
The bilge was doing overtime during hurricane until battery died.
What could knock out both at same time? Thx!

Did you check the correct fuse box located in front of the driver inside the storage area? Many don't know there's a fuse box there.

No I did not. There is that compartment in front of steering wheel with that little hole. I would likely have to take the dash apart as I read a thread that explained that someone had a wire pop off the blower switch. Did not realize fuses r in there too. I was like, "what r the odds that both came loose when they both worked when i parked it?!"
I will need to check that. I have to take it to an island in Indian River Lagoon. Dealership sold me the boat and trailer, however I noticed after they dropped it off that there was no registration or bill of sale. So that means I have to take it to a dump to weigh it. Annoying. Going to be changing oil and plugs soon somewhere lol. My marina does not work on these motors at all.
Thx for the lead Luc.

I believe you can access the fuse box by literally looking through the side hatch and up. But I have the old version of the 165 which didn't make this very difficult. Either way, definitely check them all while you're at it. One of them is a diode for the navigation lights. It's longer than fuses. Don't touch that. If you plug it in backwards, your light will work opposite to what you want. Lol

Spark plugs are very very easy to change yourself if you want to do that. Happy to guide you if want some help.

Oil change is also pretty easy. But you do need a vacuum pump (manual one or electric).

Point is, if you want to learn to do the basics yourself and are willing to buy a few tools, it can be very convenient and save you lots of money by not paying for the dealership labour. But only do so if you actually are interested. I can totally get that some people prefer to through money at the problem. Lol

Thx for response. That is good news that u can see it from that little hole. When I bought it I saw a walk thru of this year boat and front opened like a seadoo. Maybe I will finally figure out issue with stereo, has not worked since I got it 1 yr ago lol
Had a Kawasaki 3 passenger jetski, have s9me exp with oil change. Picked up plugs, oil filter, AMs oil and the oil extractor will arrive Monday.
If something goes wrong I will reach out, thx
