its attached with 4 bolts. I figure if we know we are taking out a bunch of people I can bring the seat and just set it back in place. me personally, I dont want or will ever have more than 4 or 5people on the boat. its just too crowded.How is the seat attached to the engine cover? I too don't like the idea of trampling over the seat all day long, but I don't think I want it gone permanently since there's limited seating in the 19's compared to the 21's and 24's. I wonder if there's a way to do what you did but also be able to reattach the seat when needed.

Where did you buy matte? I like this idea. One day soon I will have the boat to make these mods...took out my seat and replaced with factory style traction mat. the contours make the pictures un even but it is all the same size.
