Really think the tower adds that much wind resistance?

Yes I do. Prior to this boat, I was pulling a Seadoo Utopia 20 with my 2004 Ram with a Hemi engine. I got much better gas milage pulling that boat from Michigan to Florida each year. In June, I had to stop for gas every 3 hours on my trip from Florida to Michigan pulling the Yamaha 2013 242 Limited S. I can't tell you the exact milage, as I stopped keeping track along time ago. In July, I traded the 2004 Ram 1500 in for a 2015 Ram 3500 diesel. I pulled the boat from Michigan to Georiga and back thru the Smokies an averaged 15 miles to the gallon. Only have about 2,500 miles on the truck, so milage should improve with more miles on the truck. I will be hauling the boat back to Florida in October, and plan on keeping accurate track of my milage towing the boat to Florida, and not towing the boat when I come back to Michigan In November for deer season.

Isn't it possible to collapse the tower for towing?

see below :D

2013 F250 tuned, deleted, s&b intake, 35's with 3.5" lift pulling my just purchased 2012 242 Limited S

Nice truck!! But I would need a ladder to get in that bad boy!!

Well....I traded the Tahoe and got a truck.

There was absolutely nothing wrong with the Tahoe and it was a good 20,000 miles, but I missed having a truck.

2015 GMC Sierra Z71 All Terrain with a 6 inch Fabtech lift, 35" tires, and AMP Research powersteps. I must be going through a mid-life crisis at 44. LOL!!!

Very nice @HawkTX ! I guess that would be a Christmas gift to yourself then huh. Does it have the same motor and does it fit in your garage?

Tahoe had a 5.3L V8 and the GMC has a 6.2L V8. Barely fits in the garage. Plenty of room length wise, but only 2 inches of clearance height wise.

Nice! You'll pass everything but gas stations. Lol. That's the clearance that I have and I don't have a lift kit. I've got plenty of room lengthwise though.

That's no lie. Took a Little road trip to Fort Worth this weekend and it likes the gas! LOL!

Nice! Welcome to the Ram club! You've got plenty of truck to move your 21 footer around now if you didn't before.

My truck has gone through a few changes so I figure it is a good time to post updated photos.

The day after I brought it home.
