Spring has Sprung in PCB!! Show some pics!!

Where are they shooting off the fireworks from tonight? I thought they were more in PC?

We made it down for Monday's fireworks. Put in at City marina (dang, that ramp is tight with the drop off at the end!!) and ate at Bayou Joes. Food was awesome, and well priced! Then crossed the bay to get into the lagoon for the fireworks!

Is that just a tarp draped over your how? Looks pretty slick and simple.

I bought it at Sams but their out of stock now. I fount a similar one on Amazon, http://a.co/aAojHVF I used tarp clamps and 1" nylon webbing with fastek fasteners to secure it to the tower and the bow ladder. It goes on in about a minute. Keeps the SeaDek up front much cooler.
Found this one on WalMart.com. https://www.walmart.com/ip/Coolaroo...Sail-11-10-Natural-Colors/16775579#about-item Coolaroo is a very good company. I have 4 shades that keep sunlight off my outdoor bar for 5 years and they are still in good shape.

The image below is a Fastex fastener

I have also thought about using one of the shipping poles, that keep the cover up so water runs off, up front to keep it up high so you can use the bow with the shade on. I haven't tried it yet just an idea.

I liked Bayou Joe's!
I went there for breakfast several times and a few times just to get KeyLime pie:-)

Headed down to PCB early in the morning for a week. If anyone is in the area swing by and say hello. We will likely be on or near Shell Island through the week.

I should be over there some next week. I am having family reunion and we should have a mess of people there one day, not sure which day yet.

We got back to tx Sat and had a great time exploring the area with my family. We did crab island, shell island, cape san blas, and st andrew sound. Even the springs there was a nice change up to boating days. 20170707_163007.jpg 20170719_110747.jpg 20170719_110712.jpg 20170708_121934.jpg

I miss living there so much:-(
I only lived there for 2 years, had the boat for 1.5 of that. Pretty much lived straight across the bay from where everyone anchors on the bay side of Shell Island, on Tyndall AFB.

Are you in the AF? I am retired from the Navy. Let me know if you come back we can go have a drink and solve the problems of the world.

I retired two and a half years ago while I was at Tyndall. I've been wanting to make a trip back with the boat ever since we moved. My wife is still active AF, that's why we moved away from there so quickly....I was hoping to get at least a couple more years there!
