Is there an option to stream music from your Android device? I tried plugging in to Aux/iPod connection but still sound was only coming from the phone. Look through the Clarion (CMD7) owner's manual and didn't see anything helpful.

Thank you in advance.

Do you have a cover on your Android? On mine, the cover keeps the jack from plugging all the way in and will not turn off the phone speaker and on the jack output....

I have Samsung Note 4 with OEM Note 4 cover that doesn't have anything on the bottom where the cable goes in.

Are you able to stream music from music app like iHeart Radio or Pandora through your Clarion? When I plug in it looks like it was looking for music files on my device. I just want to stream it through the app from internet.

When you have an aux cord plugged in no sound should be coming out of the phone. Im thinking it was not tight enough.

here is what i use with my iphone if you don't any chords...
fusion bluetooth
should work fine with the android as well.
taped into power under the helm and plugged the auxiliary cables in underneath the radio

if you have the 3.5mm (headphone) jack plugged in it should play like you had headphones on thru the stereo. if that doesn't work check behind the headunit to make sure the RCA cable didn't come loose back there.

If you plugged in to the USB port, the headunit will charge your phone, but also try to use it like a usb drive and play audio files (mp3s, etc). Android doesnt stream audio via the USB port like iOS devices do. I heard that it's coming in the next version though...

Like @CAM212SS I added the Fusion BT thing, works awesome and not having your phone physically connected to the boat is a huge plus.
