A few days ago I saw the fluid was super low so I pulled the wheels. I found the pad materials were gone so I took out the calipers and blocked off the hoses. I didn't feel a difference going to the ramp yesterday so I don't know if the brakes ever worked well. I think this is the kit that I need https://www.etrailer.com/Trailer-Brakes/Kodiak/K2HR35D.html its expensive.. Am I going to notice a difference? It's tempting to leave it alone at that price especially since I never had an issue stopping.

I ordered this brake kit Dexter Marine/Tie Down Engineering 9.6" Integral Disc Brake Assembly - 5 on 4 1/2" - Galv-X Coated Rotors - Hydraulic Disc Brakes - Brakes - Products
It comes with bearings, seals, races, and all greased for install. Should be easy. I'm thinking for bleeding the brakes I'll get a vacuum bleeder from harbor freight.

I am still looking for the leaf springs.. 27" long slipper leaf spring 3000lbs load capacity. But I'm wondering if I can replace it with a 25-1/4" double eye leaf spring? Thats the eye-to-eye measurement

Did you get these for a Shorelandr single axel? Did yours come with brakes or is this a totally new install? I have a 2014 AR190 and am looking to add brakes.

Yeah its a shorelandr single axle. Mine came with brakes, but I think that you can add brakes to yours. It would replace your entire hub. Maybe you can call the manufacturer and ask them.
