This may be a stupid Garmin 742xs Navionics question

I have garmin 743xsv, when I use auto-guidance, it shows me "Hazard along the way" then option to correct it, click yes and it reroute to safest path. For example going in an inlet from off shore, it will let you follow the deep water (dredged) part of the inlet path. I think its a useful feature.
