Hey everybody! Any tips for removing painted-on lettering from the gel coat? Just bought the boat, definitely needs to be renamed lol. It appears to be brushed on and will flake a little when lightly scratched with a finger nail in spots, pretty solid in others. Thanks!

Traditional sign paint can be removed with oven cleaner. Search YouTube for more information and test in an inconspicuous area first if you go this route. It's used regularly on vehicles. I don't know about on gel coat.
