Upgrades for ar 190. 2019

Needing to upgrade and wanting to get the best that works.. my top speed has only been 37 and that’s just 2 of us and a cooler. I lose a lot of speed when tubing my kids and pulling the boat out of the water is a nightmare. Any and all help is needed..

You have adequately described the performance of the 190. The 37 is about right for a very hot day. On cooler days I hit 40. I have added Cobra jet ultimates which help with slow speed steering and turning with tubes. Two mods I am planning is the ribbon delete and L13 cone. Neither will improve top end significantly, but give better traction in acceleration.

I do plan on getting the l13 come too, I’m on the upper part of Georgia, rpms are at 6800

Hot day, at that elevation, with bimini deployed....38-40mph is about all you'll get. I've seen 45 on a cool day with a light load, and bimini stowed.

6800 is not enough revs. Something is awry. Should be closer to 7800 at WOT. Not sure what would cause low RPM, usually we're troubleshooting high rpm. Perhaps the Throttle Position Sensor needs adjustment to ensure the engine sees the same WOT as the throttle lever (binacle?).

Also pump your tubes up hard using a pump like this at the end of the inflation process. The pump cost is around 15 dollars
