Warranty

If the extended warranty is for let's say 5 years or 100,000 miles, that starts from the beginning of ownership, so if the initial bumper to bumper warranty is for 3 years or 36,000 miles, you are buying an extra 2 years or 64,000 miles. There are a couple of dealers on the Corvette Forum that offer the GMPP Warranties at a great discount, roughly $ 350.00 per year for the warranty purchased, that's cheap insurance on a six figure car.

True, they actually changed the GMPP now as of dec 2016, its restructured i think under a different name, my dealership doesn't even offer it anymore.

Ok, so I'm being offered 2 additional years plus the factory 1 for the warranty (boat show incentive). My dealer is selling the 4th & 5th year for $1,300. Is this extra warranty needed? Is this a good price? Thanks for your input!
We just had the Miami boat show last month and Yamaha was offering 5 years for free and when bought mine back in September 2016 they gave me 5 for free on my 2016 242 Limited S E.
