We put in at the State Park. We were staying there in our RV in the loop right next to the ramp. It's not a huge lake and the water is usually so low that we can't launch. It was fun getting out there this year and just hanging out on the water. It's a beautiful spot!
We go as a family on the 3rd so we will overlap a day or so. Caught some walleye while there last week...here is a 20" fish that was delicious. View attachment 61212
it is right next to our campsite. site #81 which is the south side of the dune camp section. hope you have a good time. we left this morning (Friday) and a lot of the smoke from Canada was coming down in the canyon. the whole northwest is smoked in looks like
We came home a couple of days early and the park was half empty...lot's of smoke. We had two clearish days in the five we stayed. Still a great time and the smoke kept the mosquitoes at bay - first time I haven't used any insect repellant in a few years!
if anyone is interested in steamboat rock camping we have an extra reservation for august 3rd for 10 days. Its site #86 in the dune loop. you wont find a better waterfront site at banks lake. I would rather see a jetboat member get it before I cancel it and it goes to the general public
