Got some boat bling products to try out. Boats on its 4th rental of the weekend. When it gets home it’s getting its first deep cleaning.

Any recommendation on soap?
I planned to use the warm water, Vinagre and dish soap with a soft brisle brush.

Also buy the the foam sprayer, even the one that hooks up to the garden hose works great. Obviously if you have a power washer that would work better but I have been impressed with the garden hose one. Hot Sauce is great however not overly impressed with the Vinyl Sauce.

This is going to be the cleanest rental boat ever.
Glad to hear your rental plan is working! Maybe time to get a six-pack license and become a charter captain! lol

thanks @swatski I had 4 rentals over the weekend and had zero issues with the boat, Just the dirty lake water leaving stains everywhere. its all cleaned up now though. at this rate my boat should be free and clear by end of next summer, and it will be paid for with someone else's money!

Some before and afters. Polished the tower, removed some stickers from the hull from the PO, as well as removed from flaking stock stickers and polished the engine hatch, then polished those other areas and treated them. Cleaned and treated the interior with PERL from carpro, cleaned the carpet, then washed the boat from the weekend. Heading to the beach this weekend with the boat to visit some sandbars I used to go to when I was younger. All that's really left is to chase down this phantom oil leak that only presents itself while running. Which I'll do when we get back from the trip. I have a dye kit and didn't really wanna run with the dye in all those hours just to chase a tiny little drip.

Figured out the number one cylinder is not firing on my port engine due to the injector not working.... now to find out why..

Fixed the brand new boat’s throttle drop on the starboard engine, used the FAQ section for details. I used a strip of aluminum flashing I had doubled up, and used as a shim in the assembly. I did both while I was in there, now to test next weekend and see if it worked!

Finally got around to getting some time to install some goodies....

I extended a 12V lead from the house battery to a power distribution block in the head for easy access to power everything. I tied it into the house battery cutoff switch so nothing to drain the batteries when turned off.

Also put a porta pooper in the head.

Rebuilt the cleanout plugs since one was sticking closed the last couple times out.

A few tips:
1. The locking mechanism is spring loaded, pressing the release button with the rubber gasket uninstalled can cause the spring to pop out of the plug, watch it, lose the spring and your plug is worthless in that it won’t lock in the down close / down position.
2. Before replacing the rubber seal, check to see if there is any build up in the lip where the loose part of the rubber meets the hard plastic of the plug. Clean all the build up away and see if this makes your plug usable/less prone to getting stuck.
3. If one of the kits being replaced is still good, keep it as an on water spare.

Here is what I did to and for my smaller Yamaha jet boats (waverunners) today.

1. Cleared up the plastic display on the instrument panel of one of them.
2. Upgraded the hardware on their docking lines and bungee cords.
