tighten the grab rail at the front of the boat. It is precarious enough trying to get an arm and extension in there, without having to do it a bunch of times just to "feel around" for the nut. If I go in first with the right size socket, I'm saving time so I figure why not ask here first?
(another simple design flaw - tightening down the grab rails is a nightmare!)

It is a big nut...I can't remember but @Julian I seem to remember either had an issue or posted about the size.

If you're doing the Starboard side, I think you can get to the forward nut by pulling the horn out. (Don't have the boat in front of me so I may be wrong.)

Just had to do this on my 09 SX230 - Pretty easy access if you remove the horn, and I believe it was 1/2 inch
