We've had a terrible boating season this year. We did get out early in March, our home lake (Clarkes Hill / Lake Thurmond in GA) suffered from a dry winter and was nearly 10 feet below full pool. We traveled 5 weeks out of the summer, spent 3 in Cape Coral alone (with a borrowed Tri-toon). But thankfully missed a huge raw sewage spill that we would've avoided anyway...
Before you knew it the kids were back in school (Aug8) and then into fall soccer. We finally hit the lake again last weekend and it was glorious! When we got home we were delivered our much anticipated Krypt Wake board rack. Can't wait to get back out and use it now!

For me, boating required the wife or kids to be available to go which we all know how this can take a turn. I have filled in the time by visiting the water a lot and while I have 15 engine hours on my boat this summer, I have over 5000 miles on my asphalt substitute. Loving the recreation of the new Yamaha

Same here @4x15mph we had so much rain lately that I had to find a way to enjoy this weather, so got me a substitute as well not a Yamaha but a Polaris RZR....

Yeah, Wisconsin is no better for warm-weather activities.

I noticed you're in Farmington Hills. I lived there for a couple years when I first got done with college. I was working for what was then National Steel (U.S. Steel now) down on Zug Island. I was in the Cordoba Apartments near Orchard Lake and 12-mile.

Born and raised in the small-town U.P. (didn't drive on an expressway until I was 18 years old because there were none where I lived) and my first apartment was near (what was at the time) the busiest intersection in the Detroit Metro area. Talk about culture-shock.

Beautiful day to be on the boat.

I spent the day doing yard work and mounting a TV/soundbar. This lighting sucks, the TV is too small for the space (that's a 55in), and that 1/2 wall is a staircase to the basement, so I was working almost 15ft off the ground most of the time.
