Was at the Cotton Bowl and now on to San Fran for the title game!

Ahem ..(cough)... ROLL TIDE!!
Looking forward to a great game against these titans.

@zipper as much as I may enjoy my very calm winters down here I'd also love to spend some time up there with you in your winter wonderland.

It's just such a stark difference that it opens up new experiences like frozen bodies of water (and shanty towns) that we'll never have down here.

Not to mention it's January and I'm still watching for snakes on warm days.

@Bennie This is my busy season. In the woods most days maintaining the sap lines and tapping trees this time of year. I would have to put you to work under extreme Winter conditions. ;) Summers are much nicer weather in Vermont, IMHO. Boating up here is much nicer then. Winter on the Lake can turn your boat into this.

Looks like I have yet another reason to cheer for Clemson this Monday night!

He worked hard for 5 years. To end his career dominating an All-American tackle from Notre Dame last week, and overwhelming/rendering utterly ineffective the Outland Trophy winner last night, was a wonderful way to hang up the cleats.

I was paying close attention to #50, he had a really solid game. Will he be attending the NFL Combine?

In case you have not seen the Yamaha snowmobile thread, this is what we do during "hard water" season. We still run the same lakes.

This little clip was from Sunday. It was a bit of flat light, so we were taking it easy crossing lakes due to "rogue waves"

In Minnesota, we have a theory that we truly appreciate seasons, as we never know when they will be taken away from us, or when we will get them back. But when they do, we take advantage of every minute of it. I would say we used our new-to-us 242LS every weekend last summer till they day I pulled it and cleaned her up for bedtime.

Enjoy!

Here is why...

I fucking hate winter. 3 months until boat season...IMG_6392.JPG

I'm not boating because it's coffee:30 at the moment. And I think we're just gonna bicycle around the harbor walk today. Otherwise, I probably would be. What's a "winter"? 80 here today. :P

Not boating today. ... but trailering the boat. Taking it to the dealership to get two new captain's chairs.

Under YES warranty :-D

Last weekend here in Orlando. Sorry guys, enjoy the winter! I feel your pain, I spent a short 2 years of my life in New England and I will never live where it gets cold again.
