I drew my own name for "Secret Santa" this year ! Got my new Traeger Ironwood 650 (with approval from the finance committee) on Christmas Eve. Treated the sons , grandkids , and other family to smoked Prime Rib on Christmas Eve. It was wonderful. Starting to plan now for smoked crab legs on New Years eve. Any good advice or recipes from members on smoking crab legs would be greatly appreciated ?IMG_0791.jpeg

Advice: when buying your crab to smoke, avoid the krab. It ain't the same thing.

I had no idea this was legal. Game changer!

I've found that if I buy myself all the stuff I want throughout the year, the kids are left with buying me cigars. The boys like going to the cigar shop and I really enjoy the stories they tell me of their visits (and they really do get me some stuff I'd have never considered). Any of the girls (daughter-in-laws/daughters), those stories are sometimes better than any present they could have gotten me. I've been my own Santa for a while. It's a shame I've been adding the body and white hair at the same time.
