Funny you ask that. I have a brand new bar with me this morning that is going to be welded to test on a new 210 series hull.

jcyamaharider, is that your board? The video was shot by Jubal while on my boat at Shelbyville. All I remember is we somehow ended up with that surf board.
Oh how I long for big deep water. This past weekend we were surfing in 3 foot water and even the wedge thinging couldn't help go ropeless.

Wow three feet of water !! That's crazy !!!!

I lost track of the river channel. I figured it out when in the mirror I saw a small boiling black wake. I don't recommend surfing in three feet, even with a Yamaha.

@buckbuck , Jim, that was my board. They borrowed it to try out.

OK, I like what I see. Now the question is, what do you have in the works for the 190 series? I just attempted wake-surfing behind my buddies Nautique and though I didn't get up for long due to I am 300# and was using his wife's board that was for tricks and only 47". My new 66" LF Fish arrived today and I am itching to try it out. The itch also has me planning winter mods if I can make a wake to surf off of on my new AR192.

Nothing, throw a 750 bag on surf side and have fun!!!! Ropeless straight line surfing all day long!

Yep with the single motor in the middle , the 190's put out a good wake our wedge wouldn't help out on it

How do you like the Ronix Duke board? I want to get one... Trying to convince the "Finance Dept." to approve the PO...
I would hope that @sx210owner and @jcyamaharider @jcyamahariders wife will pass their opinions in on this also. I purchased this board because I have no ballast but wanted to practice getting up and riding with just the wife and I before investing money into ballast. With just body ballast, I was able to get up 3 riders that never heard of wakesurfing before trying. Not enough ballast to go ropeless. That said there is good and bad. Good : easy for beginners to get up and ride. Bad: hard to store, this thing is huge at 5.5 '. Because it it so buoyant, it is impossible to push down in the water like experienced boarders do. They say it is fragile, but I have not experience that as a problem yet. This is not a board for tricks, but if you want to ride for long periods and get up small to large riders, this will work. @jcyamahariders wife did go ropeless the first time on this board. If purchasing, I recommend buying a previous year model leftover for a big discount. They are all basically the same in build. For serious boarders that want to do more than ride, I would look elsewhere, but for that surfing feel, this will definitely work.

Yes Gary's Ronix board was my first time going ropeless wakesurking and man it felt good ! Yes it was difficult for me to get up because it was so buoyant and a very large board but I still loved the ride. This board made me rethink the type of board I wanted so I went with a Shred Stix Truckster that was buoyant like the Ronix but shorter and less fragile but came at a price :-( I love my new board and the wedge together without that I totally suck and possibly would have gave up on the whole thing and went back to knee boarding !

I think everyone has hit the points on the Ronix duke!!! Nothing to add here except for a yep...lol
