Very trick piece of kit ! Among many other features this device allows one to limit the amount of charge that an automotive style alternator can put into a LiFePO4 battery to keep said alternator from being damaged.

Very cool. My twin-engine Jeanneau NC895 Sport has a kludgey battery configuration that utilizes (a) one of the two start batteries as the house battery, (b) Cristec YPower AC-DC chargers that work off generator or shore power, and (c) multiple isolators for the two aforementioned batteries plus two more batteries for the bow thruster and generator. This Victron system would solve multiple problems for me if I decide to add a lithium battery to the double-duty start+house battery, so that I don't have to run the generator overnight.
