Quad ski? I have not seen that before.

I hadn't either, Just drive it on the road the same as a Quad and then just drive it into the water the wheels and suspension retract and it turns into a Jetski, Clever idea, There's a test on You Tube i believe.

This could be fun to have at the lake house! On-line they state 140 HP and will do 50 MPH. There is a 175 HP model as well. The cost will be about $40K. A little high.

Yes the price sounds a bit rich maybe that's why you don't see many around.

Went for a meal tonight just thought it was worth letting you know to compare the general costs, Half a roast chicken with the normal trimmings including soft drinks in a small restaurant near the Beach for the 2 of us, Total cost $8 very enjoyable.

Nice, that would have been about 35.00 here plus tax and an expected 20% tip.

1/2 Chicken plate with salad, probably about 12.00 - 16.00 (top end at a beach restaurant)
Soft Drinks are usually 2-3.00 EACH (Torques me off, I drink water)

No not really local Government come to do the mosquito kill.

Yes i was just giving the Engines a wipe over and had just finished when a nice Thai Gentleman holding some sort of machine with a small flame coming from the front asked me if i could wait outside for a while so he could do the business, He did a good job and gave me time to finish giving the Engines a wipe over.

I remember back in the 70's and early 80's Chicago suburb used to come around with trucks and blasted white fog/smoke all over. I think they stopped due to the public health risk! Sure hope that stuff isn't too harmful.

And Naples, in at least the 50's, 60's and early 70's, had the mosquito Fog Patrol jeeps, all laddened out, spraying every night.

Think it was DDT ........ It sure smelled for about 15 minutes. Went EVERYWHERE !!!!!!!!!!!

Ahh yes, the 54's those were a good year or so I've been told. A little before my time!;)

They still do that here.

As a kid, my brothers and I would follow behind the city mosquito fogging trucks with our bikes. The goal was to see how close you could get without hitting the bumper. It was years later that we realized they were fogging with DDT.

Our county buzzes our roof tops in planes at night while misting the insecticide.
Yeah, they use a helicopter along with the truck that has the sprayer out the back.

They put the damn helicopter on a trailer for every parade we have...LOL...Lower Alabama we are.
