@dustin That is WAY too much angle!!! With any boat from parallel with the swim deck you will only want to rotate the wedge about 10 degrees down.

More like this. Disregard that there are 2 wedges in the picture one with a flap down, this about the angle that you want.

that's good to know! I had to swap it over for goofy and I guess I need to do some adjusting. Do you normally run with 2 wedges on the boat? I was thinking about having 2 so it is easy to switch sides but didn't know if it would work. Is it safe to cruise with the wedge on or should it be removed when not surfing?

Does the wedge interfere with your thrust vectors in any way?

I am excited for the weekend coming up so I can try this thing out.

No, that was just for a picture. On this boat they did interferer with the thrust vectors and the reason for the disclaimer in our instructions. If you have thrust vectors be cautious, it can bind. go straight and you will be fine. Make a turn at no wake speed.

I have cobra jets so we will see if they affect them.

I ran the wedge this weekend for the first time. It seemed to work pretty good! I think I need to add some extra weight now to get the wake to the size I want. I think I am going to get out there again this weekend and play with the pitch of the wedge. Do you guys have any recommendations on the adjustment of the pitch? What should I be looking for to tell me what way I need to go on the pitch?

As long as you can see the wake come in behind the boat and have a clean face then the angle is fine. After that weight placement is the big key.

Here is a video from behind the boat on what I mean about the wake coming in behind the boat.

So with more and more wedges going out into the market we are seeing some weak points with some different styles of boats. Mainly the Ar240 and the 212X. The draw latch that we use seems to be failing. As to anything new problems do come up and we are aware of this and we are in the process of figuring this out for everyone. It is not our intention to put out a product that will not last for everyone for years to come so please bare with us as we come up with a resolution and make this product that much better. We fully stand behind this product and have sent replacement parts out to who has needed them and we will continue to do so until the issue is resolved. Thank you for you patience and patronage!!

What specifically is failing? Are there any pictures? If it is what I think it is we might have some ideas as to how and help.
