I had to work all weekend. The town I work in has a 1 mile Run, called the Connelly Mile. Got to watch my just turned 3 year old daughter do the race and actually run the entire thing. She was the youngest person to EVER run the race without getting pushed in a stroller. I met her at the finish line where she finished with a sprint. Our motorcycle cop said she never stopped once and at one point yawned during the run lol AND she wasn't last !!!! #MERICA

Besides rain, rain and more rain, the lake rose 1.5' from Thursday night through this afternoon, I was able to put 8 hours on my new 212X and loving it!

I think we will go up to Lake Winnebago on Sunday. Forecast is very promising (shhh! Don't jinx it!)

Wife down with awful migraine today.

Took advantage of the unexpected time to caulk swimdeck speakers, connect up new mid-cabin coaxials, and tune amps. Swimdeck JL MX650 coaxials with properly tuned JL amp = UNREAL sound!

We changed our minds and decided to stay closer to home today. We ended up dropping in at The Golden Mast on Okauchee Lake. Weather was perfect! Sunny & 79F.

A bit hard to see from crappy photo, but there were over 100 boats in party cove when we left to go tubing about 3:00 PM. Sorry I didn't get a better photo, too busy having fun.

In MN we only really get 2.5 months of great boating whether so we celebrate every nice day like it's the 4th of July, which also means we have to go balls out on the 4th.

DO IT! The DNR doesn't allow you to take more than one walleye now anyway so it's hardly worth the trip for fishing. Totally worth the trip for beer drinkin' on the water! I forgot to mention we have some pretty good ribs and wings served off of a party barge by a local business too. I can't say that they'll stand up to your southern BBQ, but they are damn good served on the lake.
