Keep tuned and it will happen soon!
Figure sometime in early July as the safest bet.

Bring 25 gallons of fuel on top of a full tank. 192s gulp that stuff in big water.

We have had several 190/192 make the crossing the only issue they have ever had is the fuel consumption of the 192.

Lets hope that Matthew heads out to sea more by Thurs.
The cruising community is predicting for 20'+ footers hitting Exumas and Long Island...

I wouldn't do it as too much support would be required I would need someone to carry fuel and all my supplies and refueling in rough seas would be near impossible safely.

I kind of figured after you sell the boat, you could jump on one of these and be the first!
I'm more built for comfort, not speed. I'm too old to get that adventurous. Still debating Kawasaki or Yamaha.

I've had you so wrong all this time Robert. I've always viewed you as seat of the pants kinda guy, not the logical or realistic type. Lol

I'm a seat of my pants guy defiantly but when I have to rely on others to much its not my thing. I'm little to independent for that. I would not blink twice at running to Bimini on my ski on my own as I know I could pack everything I needed to be self sufficient on it but a stand up I would be relying on someone for everything. Not saying that if you or @Ramblin Wreck was willing to carry all my gear and fuel on your skis for me to do it I wouldn't try it but not really something I would just jump all over.

& all of that is why I love ya man! Haha. I couldn't help but poke at ya. Seat of the pants, adventurous, & yet you have a great ability to plan well.

NAAH! Too boring! ;-) Think about it, would you forget that epic trip we just did to Staniels? For whatever reasons, at least for me, what ever doesn't kill me but comes close, produces the most memorable on the edge unforgettable experiences!

@Ramblin Wreck I wouldn't put it past you, @JROD, @robert843, or especially @1948Isaac.
Been there done that a few moons ago! ;-) Stand up goes back to my roots and humble beginnings in the 80s to a soup up Kawasaki 550 stand up that had the stability of an 18" log on the water and for those days the wooping speed of 48MPH. It was a blast, many great and some very painful memories, but definitely a challenge to ride that was not for everyone. I had friends that when the 2 and 3 seaters started to become popular called them the "Couch" and said it would not last. History speaks for itself and it turn out to be the other way around. There was a time I resisted going to the "Couch", but now I look back at as one of those normal life's transitions and the ABN mindset of "Adapt, survive, and overcome!" ;-)

It definitely wouldn't be a sporty ride but it would be fun to run wide open across the ocean. You could run 50+ all day in those conditions.

I'm waiting for those slow rollers you all talk about. I've only experienced the washing machine.

I want to ride one of these new ones bad. They are quite a bit bigger then the old ones and appears to much more stable. $10k+ MSRP doesn't sound fun though.

I am with Robert on that! But man what an awesome challenging blast that would be to ride that stand up rocket to Bimini!! HOOAH! Let's go!! I am sure we can get one of our dedicated boating budds or two to help us out as support boats? Here is my dream crew, stand up Jockeys, Jeremiah, Robert, and I. Support CPTs Andy, Isaac and camera crew. LET'S GO!!!
