I didn't wait long to change to radials. I've towed from WI to FL for 4 Bimini trips, WI to Table Rock in MO, and numerous other trips in WI. I'm still on the original radials and have never had a flat. Very much worth the upgrade in my book. For what it's worth, my boat/trailer is a 2009 that hit the road in 2010.

I have been dragging my feet on changing to radials as I am currently waiting for a new slip/lift in my marina and I trailer all the time across some unpaved stuff/rough ramps. Plys definitely have their purpose, basically tractor tires - and some of FL roads should easily qualify as unpaved, lol.
But I'm going to swap those now and see if I can get those balanced, too.

@MrMoose Do you happen to keep track of what is the level of satisfaction with the radials on the shorland'r trailer? I'm about to swap mine (from OEM plys).
I added the fender washer mod but my fender covers are ripping apart again...
Will radials make it better/make it shake that much less? I just wonder what are any new findings there?

I contacted Carlisle and had them ship the proper tire for the trailer as stated on the trailer info tag. All vibrations and issues with the trailer are gone. If you have the means, I would swap them out before any long trips.

Windfinder has the only 10 day marine forecast that I am aware of. Unfortunately 10 day forecasts are not very accurate and Windfinder does not have offshore forecasts to show what conditions should be in the stream. The 10th will show up in their 10 day forecast tomorrow. Fortunately I like the downward trend from 3 footers to mid 1 footers.

@swatski, I haven't put enough miles on my trailer since doing the radial swap, and getting the fenders replaced (pre-redesign). I'll be able to answer your questions once I finish towing from Houston, to Ft. Lauderdale, to Lake Powell, to Calgary in July. If I end up with another cracked fender, then I expect (per previous discussions) that Shoreland'r will replace both with the new design. I'll definitely be keeping an eye on the brackets in July. If I see a cracked one, I'll at least make sure that the bolts are tight so that they don't blow a tire.

I will do the same than.
Need to also replace those fender washers ("@McMark mod") with bigger ones - got some 2"ers - as my cracks in fender diamond covers are spreading (so to speak).
