The heat is more from your brakes partially grabbing. They may be slightly holding from not being used or they may need to be serviced at some point from the caliper slide bolts seizing.
Agree, just drove 10 hours last night and we replaced all bearings before leaving and my rear two are hot as well from the brakes. No worries!

Hope this helps
If it is bearing it has to bee super hot for long period of time to fail. It's a needle type bearing and it can handle a lot of heat.
If you coming trough Tampa area I can help to udjust
thanks. I may have to slow down a bit too, my diesel truck doesnt even know the boat is back there and its easy to start creeping past 80 mph. I normally try to tow at 72

Good idea, I never go over 60 saves diesel and tires.

@Alex&Elena, I beleive the delicious stuff you are looking for is "PET milk" which has a sweet flavor. You can use a pressure cooker to turn it into caramel.

In Europe UHT (ultra pasteurized) milk that does not need to be refrigerated is widely available. The taste is indestinguisable from regular pasteurized milk once refridgerated. Horizon Organic milk is UHT. It is available in many stores in the refrigerate sections in half gallons or in single serving sizes at Walmart. Some Dollar Tree locations have quarts of UHT for a dollar.
I think @Bruce means sweetened condensed milk...

@Bruce's crew will be staying at the Holiday Inn West in Fort Pierce, FL tonight. There is plenty of trailer parking at this location, a good rate, and about an hour and half drive into Fort Lauderdale Sunday morning.

question to you ;

I left at midnight I've made it all and little over 500 miles I've stopped once for fuel the front axle on the trailer is cool to the touch however the back axle each hub is very hot to the touch. There has been no smoke coming off the trailer however I'm wondering if it's due to the weight that we have in the back of the trailer or if those bearings are about to go? I moved the cooler all the way up to the bow of the boat to see if maybe that will take a little weight off that back axle

Im pretty good at giving the trailer hubs a little grease throughout the summer.

Id like to push on, but now im wondering if i should maybe find a place to repack the bearings. Thoughts....?
@Bruce thinks it could be the brakes heating up the rear axle. He recommends jacking up one side and check if the rear wheel wobbles. If it does not wobble the bearings should be good.

Hey there. As of yesterday, everybody who has a slip reserved a Bahia Mar Marina should have been contacted by the Marina staff to confirm the booking. If you have not received a confirmation call, please give them a call to confirm.

@Majorsmackdown @Alex&Elena as for food, other than @ACrews no one that I know has every been asked about the food they have on board their boat. I don't remember the exact details but I believe it was something said in line that drew the attention of the customs officer to inspect @ACrews boat. On the customs form don't go into great detail about what you have, just put something like "drinks and snacks", that has always worked for me. My bet is that customs is probably happy folks bring food instead of depleting what little there is to purchase on the island.
I think we worded it 'groceries for consumption'

:)

@Bruce says, Bahia Mar slips are easy. Just pull up to fuel dock, fill up, go inside to pay and they will tell you where to dock. There is no need to call on the radio or phone. They may also give you some goodies when you go inside.

An update from Bimini Sands via @Bruce he wanted to relay that we will be paying a $1.50 a foot per day plus taxes for slips. Which is less than originally quoted. Slip assignments will be handed out at the Captain's meeting.
